Eco Sash & Case – Reducing Your Carbon Footprint
At Eco Sash & Case, we’re committed to making your window restoration as sustainable as possible.
We use eco-friendly paints, timber, and materials that are safe for the environment.
We reuse or responsibly recycle the waste generated during our work.
For every project, we plant a Scots Pine, helping to restore Scotland’s Caledonian Forest and offset our carbon footprint.
By renovating and repairing your sash windows instead of replacing them, you’ll save energy, keep valuable materials out of landfill, and preserve the existing carbon store — using just 1/40th of the energy compared to full replacement.
Together, we can protect your home’s heritage while caring for the planet.
Every job we complete, we plant a tree with Trees for Life.
We’re proud to support Trees for Life, an award-winning Scottish charity dedicated to restoring Scotland’s ancient Caledonian Forest. Their inspiring vision is to bring back wild forests, rare wildlife, and thriving ecosystems to the breathtaking Highlands.
By planting a tree for every project we finish, we’re helping to create a lasting, positive impact — not only for nature, but also for future generations who will enjoy a healthier, wilder Scotland.

How much does planting a tree offset our carbon footprint?
A tree can absorb as much as 48 pounds of carbon dioxide per year and can sequester 1 ton of carbon dioxide by the time it reaches 40 years old. That’s about 22 kg / yr or 455 kg / lifetime.
Our Eco Sash & Case services are better for you and better for the environment.
