- Stripping back existing paintwork from flat surfaces. Debris is removed from the sash pockets, and any open grain or minor defects in the timber are repaired using a high-quality two-part filler. All flat surfaces are then sanded to create a smooth base for decoration.
- We will complete all woodwork repairs in the scope of work.
- To improve energy efficiency and reduce draughts, we install a discreet brush-strip draught-proofing system. This includes fitting the brush strip to the baton rods, parting beads, head of the sash box, and the mid rail.
- Our enhanced five-coat paint system is designed to provide exceptional durability and a premium finish. It comprises one coat of primer, two undercoats, and two top coats, ensuring long-lasting protection against the elements.
- A traditional sand mastic is applied around the perimeter, providing a breathable, conservation-appropriate seal that respects the character of your property.
- New polished brass ironmongery is fitted as standard, including pulleys, Brighton fasteners, sash lifts, and sash eyes. Upper-floor windows are also equipped with a discreet, easy-clean system for convenient cleaning and maintenance.
