How to clean sash windows
Regular cleaning of both the glass and timber surrounds is important for keeping your windows looking great for longer.
- Always clean panes with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth. This will prevent static build up. This method is also eco-friendly as disposable products such as paper towels are not required.
- The timber frame and surrounds can be cleaned with a warm bowl of soapy water and a soft cloth – not too wet! Make sure all areas are dried thoroughly.
Then every 3 years we recommend painting both the interior and exterior of your window frames.
