We are delighted to announce that we have increased our window manufacturing capacity by investing in new, modern machinery.
This machinery will allow us to create complex timber casement windows and sash windows for our clients in Edinburgh, the Lothian, Borders and Fife.
Sustainable Window Construction Ethos
We have always believed in sustainability and will refurbish a client’s windows whenever possible. Only when it is necessary, will we manufacture new timber windows and will always use responsible sourced timber.
Before our recent investment in window manufacturing machinery, we used traditional tools such as spindle moulders, band saws and four-sided planers. We still use these tools but now run most of the windows through our sophisticated CNC machine that improves the quality of cuts and profiles. It’s also safer, more energy efficient, produces less waste and creates more precise fitting windows faster.

The investment in new machinery also benefits our clients. We are now able to create timber-framed windows with complex designs or in any shape such as arched or circular. The precision of our machinery means your new window will fit perfectly.
This investment has allowed us to double our manufacturing capabilities which means we can fulfil large orders for commercial clients such as housebuilders, contractors and architects.

It allows us to create very precise timber-framed casement windows and sash and case windows quickly and at a very high quality.
We have also invested in a sophisticated band saw, a four-sided planer, sash cramper and various smaller power tools. Further investments are planned to help improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
