How to clean your sash windows
Regular cleaning of both the glass and timber surrounds is important for keeping your windows looking great for longer.
- Always clean panes with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth. This will prevent static build up. This method is also eco-friendly as disposable products such as paper towels are not required.
- The timber frame and surrounds can be cleaned with a warm bowl of soapy water and a soft cloth but not too wet! Make sure all areas are dried thoroughly.
Along with regular sash window maintenance we also recommend painting both the interior and exterior of your window frames every 3 years.
